The objective of the project is to make it possible for Nawat speakers to read or hear the Hebrew and Greek Bible in their own language.
This quality work is the product of a painstaking translation process. This includes:
- Careful study of the source texts in the original language.
- Comprehensive research of the Nawat language’s resources.
- An effective methodology yielding a translation that is faithful to the original, accurate, intelligible and well-written.
- Feedback from numerous native speakers was obtained prior to publication.
This taxes many skills and takes a long time, but no corners have been cut. We need not insist on this as we believe the results speak for themselves.
